Derelict Timber Yard to Modern Sustainable Office Space

Mitsubishi Electric VRF System install integrated with Fire Alarm Shutdown and Building Management System (BMS) Requirements

Location: Hammersmith, London

The development known as Dimes Place in Hammersmith offers a fantastic opportunity to transform the former timber yard into high-quality and unique office space in the heart of Hammersmith. This brownfield site is located in a highly sustainable area that would benefit from the addition of office accommodation, enhancing the town centre.

Despite its derelict state, the site retains a significant amount of character. The updated plans aim to preserve some of the existing buildings and draw inspiration from the site's history as a timber yard, influencing the aesthetics of the new proposals.

Scope

The office space features Mitsubishi Electric VRF systems that cater to different floors and tenants. The ground floor comprises a reception area and two office spaces, while levels 1 and 2 offer open-plan office spaces meeting CAT A fit-out standards, each with its dedicated VRF systems. The installation process showcased meticulous attention to detail, with the timber design and mechanical components on full display, demonstrating the exceptional workmanship from our team that led to a successful project completion.

Delivery

Across four floors, including the reception and office areas, there are 60 VRF fan coil units. These units are all connected to an AE200E central controller and EW-50 expansion card, integrated with fire alarm shutdown and building management system requirements.
