London AC takes great pride in actively supporting the local community by sponsoring and championing three local football teams.
Our very own Project Manager, Chris Scotter currently coaches two local children's teams:
Under 12's at Kings Hill FC and Under 9's at Larkfield FC
By investing in these teams, London AC not only hopes to encourage a love for the sport but also instil important values such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship in the players. Through this partnership, London AC aims to create a lasting impact on the lives of these young individuals, providing them with opportunities to grow, both on and off the pitch.
We spoke to Chris about the teams and their progress this season:
Both teams are doing really well and are representing their associated clubs up and down the country. Our Under 12's Kings Hill team are about to enter the Kent Youth League which is a competitive, well-run organisation showcasing the best talent from across the county in this age group. My Under 9's Larkfield team have just participated in their respective league cup finals and have just got to the final of a recent Lordswood Tournament. Thanks to London AC, the boys look every part their best, playing and representing their teams at every match. We couldn't be more grateful to London AC for their continued support and generosity.
London AC are also supporting fellow Project Manager Jack Archer, with his team Man v Fat Gillingham Reserves this season.
MAN v FAT Football is a community of football clubs tailored for men aiming to shed weight. Each player shares the common goal of losing weight, improving their health, and relishing the game of football. Initially focused on smaller matches, the players expressed a desire for more, leading to the establishment of 11-a-side teams nationwide. Thanks to sponsors from across the country, these teams now compete in a structured league, wearing professional kits.
A massive thank you to London AC for Sponsoring Man v Fat Gillingham Reserves. As we prepare to face teams from across the South of England, we will do so knowing we look the part. Sponsorship from London AC means that we no longer play in 11 different shades of blue!! But wearing an official kit and being able to take pride in ourselves on and off the pitch.
Man v Fat Gillingham Reserves also wear the JDRF logo on the sleeve of their shirts to raise awareness for a charity close to the hearts of a number of their members, who have children living with Type 1 Diabetes.
London AC takes pride in backing a remarkable group of gentlemen in their sports endeavors, as well as their efforts to achieve weight loss and improve their health. We are privileged to sponsor alongside JDRF for their noble cause. Best wishes to the team for the remainder of the season.
